Lovely double room in the attic

We spent a great time with Margaret and her husband Gordon. It was very interesting chatting with both of them since they are such a nice couple. Their home was always very clean and there are two restrooms. The bedroom was clean as well. The tv works properly with about 17 channels. We could make ouselves and felt like being in our own home. The area is very safe and there is a shop for some food very close to their house. It is not too far away to get to the center by bus with number 16.
Anyway everything was perfect.

Als wir ankamen waren Margaret und Gordon sehr mit ihren Enkeln beschäftigt, daher war die Begrüßung sehr kurz angebunden und nicht wie wir es von anderen B&Bs gewohnt waren. Dennoch waren beide freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns einige Tipps für die Stadt gegeben und in der näheren Umgebung ist ein größeres Geschäft und einige Kneipen, man ist also mit Allem versorgt. Das Haus liegt in einem ruhigen Stadtteil von Dublin, vor dem Haus im Hof kann man kostenlos parken; die Anbindung zum Flughafen war gut, in das Stadtzentrum braucht man dennoch eine Weile mit dem Bus.
Das Zimmer war auf der obersten Etage, man konnte die Dachfenster verdunkeln. Die Sauberkeit in dem Zimmer war nicht, wie wir es von den bisherigen B&Bs gewohnt waren; es war staubig.
Das Bad teilt man sich mit mehreren weiteren Zimmern und mit den Gastgebern. Der Wasserboiler war in der Nähe unseres Zimmers und das Wasser für die Bäder floß durch die Rohre in unserem Zimmer, was nachts beim Schlafen sehr gestört hat, wenn jemand ein Badezimmer genutzt hat. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach gehalten, bestehend aus Toast, Marmelade und Kornflakes. Wir würden ein Frühstück außerhalb empfehlen.
Alles in allem ein B&B mit netten Gastgebern ohne große Ansprüche an Komfort und Sauberkeit.

Wir waren sehr zu Frieden mit unseren Aufenthalt.

It was a lovely stay in Dublin. I booked the room for the attic for my time and my hosts Margaret and her husband were really friendly and helpful. There was information material offered for my trip which helped me to find the locations I liked to visit and the house was clean and neat. With a supermarket, pub and bus stops just ahead you could reach the city in short time while avoiding the noise of it. I enjoyed my stay and liked the hospitality very much.

Margaret und ihr Mann sind sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit sie erklärten uns die regionale Buslinie und gaben und tips zur Gastronomie in Dublin!! Ich würde wieder bei ihnen ein Apartment buchen!!

Comfortable attic room and many facilities available. Their hosts, Margaret and Gordon, a very kind, friendly, educated and funny couple that easied our staying and resolved our doubts and problems amazingly.
