My apartment is located in a building surrounded by the nature reserve of the "Valle dei Casali. Despite being in Rome and not far from the center, here you really have the impression of being out of town. It's very quiet, ideal for relax after spending a day among the monuments and museums. In the morning you can wake up with the birds singing.
The apartment is at the third floor with a lift. It is composed of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living-room and a kitchen. The furniture is essential and of good taste.
The bedroom where you are going to stay are supplied with a double divan-bed (new), a wardrobe, a night-table and a desk. There are also a lot of compact-discs, you are allowed to listen to them. The room is provided with a private bathroom.
A roomy kitchen is completely available: there is a 4 fires stove, an eletric oven and a microwave, a kettle, an espresso machine and a dishwasher, there is a table for the meals, everything you need for your cooking is at your disposal: crockery, cutlery, oil, sugar, butter, etc. You can also prepare a good coffee, cappuccino or a tea.
In the main bathroom you'll find a washing-machine you could use, in my presence; in your room you'll find all towels, sheets and blankets for your necessities, hair dryer and obviously soap and toilet paper; both (towels and sheets) will be changed twice a week.
The best means of transport to reach the street where i live is the car: in the complex there is a large parking-car available to you. If you have no car, shops for all necessities, bus-stops to reach the town-center and those to reach the Metro are at ten minutes on foot. You will find supermarkets, a bank, bars, tobacco shops, a pizzeria, a patisserie, an Asian restaurant, a pharmacy and many other stores.
Compatibly with my work (fortunately i have much free time), during your stay I can take or take back (10 minutes by car at no extra charge) to / from the nearest metro station or to / from the terminus of the line 8 (which arrives in Piazza Venezia). In addition, at the time of your arrival or departure, in exchange for a small reimbursement for gasoline I can come pick you up or take you to the airport of Fiumicino or Ciampino.
At your arrival you'll find a complete guide of Rome at your disposal and useful information about the means of transport.
My house is not far from Villa Pamphili one of the most beautiful and large park in Rome; Porta Portese the very famous second-hands objects market (clothes, furniture, etc); Viale Marconi and Viale dei Colli Portuensi are two streets useful for your shopping; Viale Trastevere, where you will find many typical restaurants and many locals and where it is very pleasant to walk during the summer evenings.
If you need to control your E-mail and look for Internet information a free network Wi-Fi is available. In the living room there is a printer that you can use if you need to print tickets and reservations.
In your room there is a portable air conditioner with water function; anyway, since the room facing east, is affected by the sun only in the morning and because the flat is surrounded by a lot of green it is always cool.
I can speak some English and some French. During your stay, I will do my best to make you enjoy your holidays and satisfy all your needs.
See you soon!
Regras da CasaThe house rules are those governing the proper use of energy resources and those needed to ensure a pleasant and respectful coexistence, making sure, however, rely on your good education and your maturity.

Remember to close the throttle after you have finished cooking.
Turn off lights and appliances when not at home.
No smoking inside, but only on the living room's balcony.
Do not get other people in the apartment.
Keep clean and tidy in common spaces, and your room upon your departure.
Not to cause damage to environments, furniture and objects (please pay attention to your bags!).
It's better to eat in the kitchen and not walk with shoes inside the house.

We spend 7 days in Rome en stayed at Fabrizio's place. The room is clean and quiet. The bed is really good. Bathroom is small but ok. From the window you look out into a forest. You wake up with the singing of birds.
He doesn't make you a breakfast, but you can use the kitchen.
The place is somewhat out of the centre, but Fabrizio brought us nearly every day to the metrostation or into the city to a point where we could get a bus.
And also he picked us up again there in the evening.
Also he picked us up and drove us back to the airport, he asked for that a small amount.
Besides, Fabrizio is really a nice guy, gentle, very helpful en always in for a good conversation.
Fabrizio's is so very kind, caring and helpful - I call him San Fabrizio! I have been in Rome many times before but always stayed at hotels. Fabrizio's home is far superior to a hotel. Situated next to a natural reserve, the only sound that can be heard is the chirping of birds. Any guest who has stayed with Fabrizio will leave with memories of a restful, rejuvenating experience like having been in a 'resort'.
Accommodation is more than 'perfect'. Private bathroom is a rare luxury!
It is like you are staying in a hotel suite. Fabrizio keeps the place immaculately clean. He offers the very best to his guests - including Nespresso!
I had never stayed at b & bs or hostels ever before. Staying with Fabrizio is just like having stayed at a home of a very dear friend. Thank you Fabrizio for your friendship and the most memorable stay in Rome. I will be back again and again and I will let all my friends know about you and encourage them to stay at your home to have a wonderful 'holiday' in Rome.
My gratitude to Wimdu for facilitating excellent accommodation and to Fabrizio for providing it. Thank you!
We, a german couple, lived 7 days together with Fabrizio. Fabrizio is one of the nicest people we ever met. If you need a ride to the subway station or theres a need for a ride back home from the subway - Fabrizio was always there for us.
If you want to go by feet and bus instead, you'll need ca 40 minutes to the Roman centre.
And if you want to know were you can eat - ask Fabrizio. I never ate better then in his favorite restaurantes.
Nice room with a very nice host. The room is not very close to the city centre and to the metro station, but Fabrizio brought us to the metro station every single time. Also Fabrizio knows good places to go to. I can really recommend this apartment!
We had a wonderfull time in Rome. Fabrizio is a very hosptiable and organized guy. He learned us a lot about the traditional Italian way of living. The room was clean and neat. After a busy way in the city it was nice to come back to this quiet place. Fabrzio dropped us at the metro every morning and would offer to also collect us on our way back. If you want, busses to the city centre are also close by. Fabrizio has also a small booklet with all public transport connections arranged for his guest. Very conveniently, two big supermarkets are loacated at waling distance. We really recommend this place! Saurabh & Cecile
I have never booked with windmu, but decided to since hotels were so outrageous in Rome. Fabrizio was great at quickly responding to my emails when I first inquired about transportation since he is a little outside of the main city center. He was fabulous and picked us up from the airport and dropped us off/ picked up from the metro station (10 minutes away) each day for an extremely reasonable donation for gasoline.
The room was great too. His apartment is in a very quiet section of the city, next to a preserve. The room was spacious and very clean. Bathroom a little small, but whatever...as long as the shower is hot - which it was. He was a great host who understood enough English to help us with whatever we needed. Highly recommend. The
We had a wonderful time in Rome. Well worth the visit as Fabrizio made our stay as comfortable as possible with easy access to and from the Metro. Facilities were well at hand. Will recommend Fabrizio any time.
The best host you could ever imagine! He is the most helpful person in Rome! Helps with everything from metro to sightseeing :-) and added to that his cooking is brilliant :-) 10 out of 5 stars from us :-)
Rome is a wonderful city to visit, to live with Fabrizio who grew up in Rome did the stay very interesting, since he could give me more of the real Rome out off the tourist crowds. Frabrizio picked me up at the airport and drove me back upon departure, he also drove me to the nearest metro to the city center and picked me when I needed it. The apartment is located in a quiet area with shops, bank, restaurants and bus connections to the center of Rome, just 10 minutes walk away. Good bedroom with private bathroom, I highly recommend the apartment for everyone. Roy
